Hockey Night in Canada has represented a Saturday institution in Canadian households. The third season of the WHL Suits Up To Promote Organ Donation Presented by RE/MAX will celebrate the longstanding history of Hockey Night in Canada in a brand-new way that will spark nostalgia in hockey fans far and wide. Fans will have a chance to get their hands on the limited-edition Hockey Night in Canada-themed WHL sweaters through local auction with their WHL Club.
All games feature puck droppers.

Five-year old Haley-Ann Grant leads the puck drop during the Wheat Kings game Hailey-Ann Grant is a 5-year old who has Polycystic kidney disease. She was in attendance for the puck drop along with her mother, Kristina. They moved here last February from Victoria BC, where Hailey-Ann was featured for Kidney Health Month – “Let’s Take The Kid Out of Kidney Disease”. Kristina is an active volunteer for Kidney Foundation of Canada and took part in the Kidney Walk.
Ron Helwer is the President of Shur-Gro Farm Services Ltd in Brandon, Manitoba. Mr. Helwer and his family are strong supporters of Organ Donation and the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Ron is currently chairing the Kidney Foundation’s Challenging Limits*Changing Lives Campaign in Westman.
